Colorado’s purest, geothermal,
gravity-fed mineral waters
Our waters are historically noted for their medicinal and therapeutic value. The springs were used for centuries by the Ute as a gathering place. Today, people come from all over the world to rejuvenate and restore themselves in the curative waters.
WATER
We are nestled in the high mountain ecosystem of the majestic Collegiate Peaks Range, bordered by Cottonwood Creek and surrounded by the San Isabel National Forest. We are located 5 miles west of Buena Vista, 2.5 hours from Denver, and close to Monarch Ski Resort and Ski Cooper.
SITE
Cottonwood Hot Springs was originally a hotel and then a sanitarium. The lower springs provided hot water for treating catarrh and drinking, while the upper springs were piped to the house for bathing and treating rheumatism and dyspepsia.
